Position Overview The Lead Medical Assistant provides day-to-day leadership and clinical support for school-based health center operations. Clinical Care & Patient Services Perform Medical Assistant duties, including obtaining vital signs and patient histories, preparing patients for examinations, assisting providers, administering medications and immunizations within the scope of practice, and performing blood draws and specimen collection. Maintain accurate electronic health records, verify patient documentation and consents, and ensure orders, test results, and billing-related services are completed. Experience with blood draws and specimen collection. Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
