Our nurses are part of an incredible team that includes top neonatologists and pediatric surgeons. You’ll play an essential role in providing the best care for a child, while working with cutting-edge solutions. N/IICU nurses are active participants in cutting-edge research in neonatology, surgery and pediatric subspecialty care, along with supporting deliveries in our Special Delivery Unit. The N/IICU is currently 100 beds spread over 5 individual units, each with its own manager and leadership team. Nurses are hired to one of the five units; however, do work in all areas of the NICU based on staffing needs. Applications to this requisition include all 5 NICU units. This requisition may fill multiple positions. Part-time opportunities may be available depending on unit needs at time of application. The professional nurse builds from the resources of the community to plan and direct services to meet the needs of individual and families within their homes and communities. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES Patient Care 1. Completes an initial, comprehensive and ongoing comprehensive assessment of patient and family to determine hospice needs. Provides a complete physical assessment and history of current and previous illness(es). 2. Provides professional nursing care by utilizing all elements of nursing process. 3. Assesses and evaluates patient’s status by: A. Writing and initiating plan of care B. Regularly re-evaluating patient and family/caregiver needs C. Participating in revising the plan of care as necessary 4. Initiates the plan of care and makes necessary revisions as patient status and needs change. 5. Uses health assessment data to determine nursing diagnosis. 6. Develops a care plan that establishes goals, based on nursing diagnosis and incorporates palliative nursing actions. Includes the patient and the family in the planning process. 7. Initiates appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures. The Day Center CNA ( Certified Nurse Assistant) works at our Adult Day Health Center assisting participants with ADLs (activities of daily living) and providing both restorative and supportive care. Follow the care plan and assist participants with daily activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, hair care, mouth care, eating, and toileting. Document care provided in accordance with established policies, guidelines, and applicable regulations. Carry out, reports and documents care given in an effective, timely manner as observed by the RN and through periodic record reviews. Cherry Hill OB/GYN, is seeking a Full-Time Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) . 3 New Jersey Office Locations: Mount Laurel, Turnersville, and Hammonton Team: 8 Physicians, 4 Nurse Practitioners, 1 Certified Nurse Midwife Role is Monday through Friday, 8 hours. 4 daytime shifts & 1 evening shift per week. The Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive, specialized care to women across the lifespan, focusing on reproductive health, gynecological issues, family planning, and wellness promotion. Practices under the standard procedure established for the Nurse Practitioner role consistent with company policy and in accordance with all legal requirements. Conducts age-appropriate assessments of patients, including history taking and physical examination consistent with department protocol. Performs routine physical examinations within scope of practice, including pelvic examinations, breast examinations, PAP tests, and any relevant infection screenings. Performs IUD and Nexplanon insertions/removals , Endometrial Biopsies , works with Pessaries - education & maintenance; may perform Colposcopies . Provides education on women’s issues, preventative care, contraceptive methods, and lifestyle modifications. Orders diagnostic tests and prescribes medications within scope of practice. Provides expert, compassionate care for women during the menopausal transition (perimenopause, menopause, postmenopausal) by managing symptoms like hot flashes, mood swings, and sleep issues, educating patients on treatment options (hormonal/non-hormonal), offering lifestyle advice (diet, exercise, supplements), and supporting overall well-being with evidence-based care. Manages prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum visits, screening for pregnancy complications and evaluating physical and mental wellbeing after birth. Confers with patients in person and by phone/electronically, collaborates with others in the department to ensure a smooth flow of patient care consistent with established quality indicators and participates in the overall coordination of patient care. Performs assessment/data collection in an ongoing systematic manner, focusing on physiological, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and cognitive status, patient/family education, family involvement, and patient advocacy. Consults with supervising physicians or other clinicians as dictated by patient needs and assessment findings.
