Qualifications and Skills To excel as a Registered Nurse (RN) , you will need: Required Qualifications : Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Registry. Skills : Clinical skills, bedside manner, and infection control expertise. Proficiency in administering medication and maintaining health promotion and maintenance. Strong teamwork, multitasking, listening, and verbal communication skills. Physiological knowledge and ability to implement medical teamwork strategies effectively.
