Duties & Responsibilities Purpose of Position: Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, with the broadest scope for the exercise of independent initiative and judgment, organizes, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the nursing service and nursing education programs of a health care setting or diagnostic and treatment center; performs related tasks.
