Position: PRN Endoscopy RN Department : Firestone Surgery Center Shift: PRN PURPOSE The Endoscopy RN is responsible for organizing and guiding the delivery of competent patient care in the area of Endoscopy. In caring for a patient population which may include the newborn, toddler, adolescent, adult, and the elderly, the RN identifies the special needs of the patient’s age group and respective level of growth and development, and plans the care accordingly. The RN directs the implementation of the plan of care through performance and/or coordination of the activities of other members of the health care team. Clinical Pathways, Departmental Policies and Procedures are used as the basis to prescribe nursing intervention. The RN is responsible for the evaluation of nursing care given to all patients. QUALIFICATIONS Graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing, and must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
