La Casa Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC) is a 190-bed program providing assistance to adults 18 and older. MISSION STATEMENT Telecare will deliver and manage excellent services and systems of care for persons with serious mental illness. POSITION OBJECTIVE The LVN/LPT Supervisor provides supervision to Mental Health Workers in their assigned area, including: hiring, evaluating, scheduling, assigning duties, and overall coordination of client/resident care. Shifts Available: Full-Time | PM | Shifts: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM | Days: Variable (5 shifts a week) Expected starting wage is $32.31. Job Description The Medical Coordinator is responsible for delivering high quality medical care and influencing positive outcomes for patients experiencing homelessness in the recuperative care setting. We have many schedules available for this role, including weekends and nights. The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience . This position also qualifies for $1.50 swing shift differential and $3 graveyard shift differential. Schedule is 11pm-7:30am, Sat & Sun. Responsibilities The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her patients in the Emergency Department. They communicate with the physician about the changes in the patient’s clinical condition including results of the diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is capable of responding quickly and accurately to changes in the condition and/or response to treatment. Is knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and reporting of child/adult abuse to appropriate agencies and Hospital Social Worker. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Current and valid state RN License.2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.3. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current. 4. Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current. 5. Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire. 6. Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferred.7.
