Self-scheduling, no set schedules and rotating days Labor & Delivery Highlights 17-LDR’s (Labor/Delivery/Recovery rooms) 4 OR suites 350-400 deliveries per month on average Separate Antepartum/High Risk OB department Here’s What You Need Associate degree Nursing required or Nursing Diploma BSN (Preferred) 1 Year Experience as a registered nurse or completion of an L&D RN residency program (Required) 1 Year of Labor & Delivery experience (Strongly Preferred) Baby catching experience (Helpful) Charge Nurse Labor & Delivery experience (Preferred) RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire (Required upon hire) BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly (Required) And NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days (Required) And ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days (Required) And IFM - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring 6 Months (Required upon hire) And NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days (Required) And CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Req What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
