MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island by the Rhode Island Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. BASIC KNOWLEDGE: Baccalaureate in Nursing preferred. Must have current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span, with consideration of aging processes, human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process. 3 pm-11 pm Nurse Supervisor position Monday - Friday at Skilled Nursing Facility in Pawtucket, RI area! 3-11 Supervisor Monday through Friday with a rotating weekend schedule Employee Engagement/Culture Committee EAP Resources Requirements: Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in Massachusetts Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home, or other healthcare setting, and a minimum of 1 year of experience as a nurse supervisor Strong communication skills, professionalism, and ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public Strong knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care centers Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
