What You'll Do Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, medication information, and other pertinent clinical data. Accurately document patient information, clinical observations, services, and required documentation in the EHR; review charts for completeness and ensure results and consult notes are available for provider review. Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and emergency preparedness materials in accordance with safety and infection control standards. Support efficient patient flow and front- and back-office operations, including discharge, phone calls, scheduling, and referrals. Participate in quality improvement, productivity, compliance, and documentation initiatives and maintain compliance with HIPAA and applicable healthcare regulations. Contribute to a collaborative team environment, assist with staff training and onboarding, and demonstrate flexibility in supporting clinical functions and departmental needs.
