Utilize evidence-based nursing practice to support safe patient outcomes, medication administration, stroke protocols, and telemetry monitoring standards. Collaborate closely with providers, nursing leadership, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and continuity of care throughout the shift. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, discharge planning, and ongoing care needs. Maintain accurate clinical documentation while ensuring compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Job Description The Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at Inova Fairfax Medical is seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to train and support seven CVOR suites, providing care for both adult and pediatric cardiovascular procedures.
