Clinical expertise in managing complex conditions such as shock, sepsis, respiratory failure, heart and renal failure, arrhythmias, and post-operative cardiac patients is essential. Responsibilities may include advanced procedures such as central and arterial line placement, pulmonary artery catheter placement, and point-of-care ultrasound. Additionally, the APP may sit on committees and participate in Quality and Process Improvement Initiatives. This is a 24/7 service requiring rotation through days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with regional cross-coverage at other hospital sites.
