System Wide Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) RWJBarnabas Health is seeking experienced RNs to join our System-Wide Float Pool. In this role, RNs have the opportunity to gain exposure to a broad scope of patient care within their specialty area while working assignments at each of the sites throughout our system. The RNs support the team and the patients at each site for an average of three months per assignment. This is an opportunity to float throughout the entire RWJBH system. Enhanced Float Differentials are offered. Qualifications Required: Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing strongly preferred Minimal of three (3) years of intermediate care experience in a hospital setting. Demonstrated expertise in intermediate care field Current New Jersey RN licensure required BLS and ACLS certifications required NIH certification preferred PCCN preferred Excellent communication, leadership and collaboration skills. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrated ability to be an effective role model to others Flexibility and adaptability are essential in meeting system staffing needs as required Travel required to various hospital-based facilities within RWJBarnabas Health System The average site assignment is three (3) months Successful completion of all Orientation Programs Certifications And Licenses Required Current New Jersey RN licensure required BLS and ACLS certifications required Scheduling Requirements 36 hours per week Day Essential Functions Possess exemplary critical care skill and knowledge with professionalism, cooperation and accountability. Organizes and administers individualized age specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care.
