This position also qualifies for $1.50 swing shift differential and $3 graveyard shift differential. Schedule is 11pm-7:30am, Sat & Sun. Clinical Nurse I: Critical Care and Sub-ICU Float Pool

Note: This is a continuous recruitment requisition. We are looking for experienced Critical Care and/or Sub-ICU RNs to join our Nursing Staffing Office Float Pool. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis for openings across shifts and statuses as needed. Primary Duties and Responsibilities The Clinical Nurse I – Critical Care provides direct patient care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act for assigned patients in a critical care unit including Neuro ICU, CCU, and Sub ICU. The nurse collaborates with other disciplines of the health care team to ensure the delivery of safe, timely and appropriate quality patient care. This includes providing physical assessments, nursing interventions, pain management, medication administrations, specimen collection, meeting nutritional needs, and teaching and discharge needs of the patients assigned. Utilizes the nursing process based on evidence-based best practices to meet patient care needs. Evaluates and adjusts the nursing care process as necessary with consultation as needed, and confers with the appropriate resource personnel when making ethical/legal/medical dilemma decisions. Performs other duties as assigned. Schedule & Work Expectations 12-hour shifts: Nights: 7:00 PM-7:30 AM Days: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Weekend and holiday rotation required. Differentials for Float Pool and Night Shift.
