About the Role – Charge RN (Full-Time) We’re seeking a highly proactive, organized, and team-oriented Charge RN to support seamless clinical operations and elevate the member experience across our New York practice. This role is central to coordinating real-time clinic flow, acting as the clinical bridge between teams, and ensuring exceptional day-to-day execution of care. As a Charge RN, you will partner closely with our ACPs, MAs, Radiology, and Hospitality teams to monitor ongoing clinic activity, troubleshoot delays, manage urgent imaging and lab needs, and ensure clinical excellence and communication at every step. Description The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. Responsibilities Patient Care 1. Delivers patient care by incorporating the tenets of the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care and through the application of the nursing process based upon theory, research, evidence-based practice, and approved organizational nursing standards. 2. Patients that are admitted to the Pediatric Unit will include those aged two (2) days to eighteen (18) years. We care for patients with a wide range of complexities which include High Flow Nasal Cannula, any patient that needs higher acuity medical attention will be transferred to another facility. In the case of a medical/surgical patient surge, adult patients may be admitted to the Pediatric Unit that have medical and surgical diagnoses requiring a mild level of care, with the expectation of a brief and uncomplicated hospitalization. Scheduling Requirements (Tier 3): Work a minimum of seven shifts per six-week schedule. Two of these shifts must be fulfilled on the weekend. Work two holidays per calendar year. Per Diem RNs will be paid at 1.5 times the rate for all hours worked on these holidays . Based on your hired shift, work at least two ‘difficult to staff’ days per calendar year (Easter, Mother’s Day, Halloween, ‘Black Friday’, Good Friday, Christmas Eve, Valentine’s Day or New Year’s Eve) Follow departmental call-out policy Make-up absences within the same schedule period. Failure to comply with this on two occasions in a year will result in withdrawal of the employee from Per Diem status.
