Will assist in managing GU Surgical patients in collaboration with the Attending in shared clinics as well as in Independent Clinics. Will see post-operative patients as well as established patients on surveillance independently. Monday-Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm (will work five, eight-hour days during the introductory period and then be able to transition to four, ten-hour days, with a predefined off day during the week, after successful completion and orientation to role). Responsibilities Provides patient care as a member of an interdisciplinary team, working with many specialists to coordinate and optimize patient care. Correlates subjective and objective data to formulate a differential or working diagnosis. Formulates treatment plans for medical conditions within scope of practice. May perform minor surgical procedures within scope of practice. Prescribes oral and IV medications when appropriate, within the scope of practice. Documents patient care in accordance with medical staff rules. Credentials And Qualifications Bachelor's degree at minimum; master's degree preferred. Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant program. Active FL medical license (or the ability to obtain one) and certification by the appropriate accreditation body. Active BLS; active ACLS in addition is a plus. (must be AHA approved) Experience in oncology or general internal medicine or urology; experience specific to the specialty (Urologic Oncology/General Urology) preferred. Salary Range $131,892.80 - $201,052.80 Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role.
