Provide patient and family education regarding pre-procedure preparation and post-procedure care. Maintain strict adherence to infection control, sterile technique, and patient safety protocols. Collaborate closely with physicians, radiology technologists, cardiovascular technologists, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, procedural details, medications, and any complications. Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, including cardiac events. Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly maintained, available, and ready for procedures. Assist with patient preparation, recovery, and discharge according to established protocols. Promote a professional, compassionate, and patient-centered environment. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current RN license in the applicable state. Current BLS certification; ACLS certification required or obtainable. Previous Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred. Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and patient management. Understanding and demonstrated application of aseptic and sterile techniques. Excellent communication, organizational, critical-thinking, and teamwork skills. Summary: Care for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards and protocols. Responsible for managing the activities of the multi-disciplinary team providing care to the patient, in addition to monitoring the provision of therapeutic services through written and verbal communication with all disciplines. Ensure that all visits scheduled and provided are authorized and covered by physician orders. Responsibilities include review of patient visits weekly and providing plan to Supervisor Patient Care and team assistant, including anticipated weekend visits. Inform team assistant of any schedule changes and communicates caseload and patient care issues to Supervisor Patient Care. Coordinates care with care team assigned to caseload, participates in care coordination communication and documentation thereof. Self manages visits weekly by triaging by risks associated with potential rehospitalizations. Participates in quarterly performance improvement action plans. Complete patient documentation timely as indicated by supervisor with accuracy. Minimum Qualifications: Other information: Required 1 year - Registered Nurse; Or - 1 year - Licensed Practical Nurse; Preferred 1 year - Home Care. Florida driver's license is required within 30 days of hire.
