Job Overview Fairview Health Services has an opening for a Registered Nurse (RN) at the Hugo Clinic. This position is approved for 0.6 FTE (48 hours per pay period) and offers a consistent three-day-per-week schedule: Are you able to work the following schedule? Job Overview Fairview is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our ICU - Cardiovascular Department at our M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank location in Minneapolis, MN. We care for patients who have had coronary artery bypass, valve replacement and transcatheter aortic valve replacement, aortic arch repair and heart and lung transplant. The CVICU also handles patients with decompensated heart failure, adult congenital heart defects, cardiogenic shock, advanced pulmonary hypertension and cardiac arrest. We apply extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), ventricular assist devices (VAD), intraortic balloon pumps (IABP) and Swan-Ganz catheters routinely. Our complex patient population requires hemodynamic monitoring, critical medication management, management of organ failure, maintenance of systemic perfusion and high technical skills. This unit has a low nurse to patient ratio and resource nurses on unit. Schedule: This position will be working 0.60 FTE (48 hours every two weeks).
