We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Medication Technician to safely administer medications and provide quality care to residents in an assisted living and/or memory care community. Position Summary The Medication Technician is responsible for administering medications as permitted by state regulations, maintaining accurate records, monitoring resident well-being, and assisting with daily care needs. Complete narcotic counts at the beginning and end of each shift. Resident Care Observe and report changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional condition. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: Personal hygiene and grooming Bathing and dressing Ambulation and transfers Toileting and incontinence care Dining assistance and hydration support Respond promptly to resident requests and emergency call systems. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment. Communication & Documentation Communicate resident updates and concerns during shift handoff. Maintain accurate and timely resident documentation. Collaborate professionally with nurses, physicians, hospice providers, home health agencies, laboratories, and family members.
