Overview Our Mid-Cities Division (Texas Health Resources HEB) has a FT position available . The position is working in a care-team model and the schedule is 8 hour shifts each week. THR HEB hospital is a busy 250 bed hospital located in Bedford, Texas. There are currently no hearts or Pedi. Our CRNAs cover endoscopy, OB, Cath lab and the main OR. Cases in the OR include GYN, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, vascular, podiatry, and some ENT. This position requires no holidays or weekends. Occasional weekend call from home, 7am-5pm Saturday or Sunday. Approximately 7-10 call shifts per calendar year. Call taking positions also available to offer 24 hour weekend coverage, then up to seven days off in a row! HEB is the only hospital in Northeast Tarrant County that is designated as a Level 3 Trauma Medical Center that offers complex care treatments and medical advancements in a variety of services. Community Highlights Hurst-Euless-Bedford has a tri-cities population of around 144,147 and is known to be one of the most "convenient" locations to live in the DFW Metrroplex. The cost of living is very reasonable, and most residents have a short commute when working in Dallas or Fort Worth. The area houses a community college, as well as one of the largest shopping malls in the Metroplex! This highly rated school district has a student-teacher ratio of 17-1 and is one of the most diverse districts in Texas. Overview Immediate full time positions available for CRNAs at Level 1 Trauma Center near downtown Ft. Worth! CRNAs provide anesthesia in a Care Team model for a variety of surgeries including but not limited to general cardio/thoracic, ortho, neuro, ENT, and gyn. CRNAs work 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts based on staffing needs and are responsible for limited number (typically 1 or 2) of well compensated “Call Back” shifts (8 hour shifts) each month. How you make a difference The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides assistance and collects data in the delivery of patient care in a correctional setting, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. As part of this role, the LVN directs and guides patient teaching and activities in accordance with their education, demonstrated competencies, and the Nursing Practice Act (NPA). The LVN works closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care and compliance with established policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Assist in patient assessment and treatment planning in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act and Correctional Health Services policies. Administer medications and implement medical plans as directed by the Health Care Practitioner, utilizing proper techniques and procedures. Respond to emergencies and maintain safety through the implementation of established protocols and precautions. Implement nutrition and therapeutic diets and assist in medical procedures as necessary to meet patient needs. Document nursing encounters and communicate information to healthcare staff and supervisory personnel. Qualifications & Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing Experience One (1) or more years clinic experience preferred Licenses/Certifications Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state employed.
