Administer medication following the five rights of medication administration. Provide wound care and dressing changes, as applicable. Consult with physicians to decide on best treatment decisions when appropriate Performs nursing interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The services are provided on board the Community Mobile Unit out within the underserved. The incumbent will also support the public health clinic in Child Health, Immunization, Family Planning and Sexual and Reproductive Health. They will provide professional nursing care services to clients, prepare reports and statistics, and assist in providing community health education. Manage and maintain vaccine inventory and corresponding supplies. This position will participate in disaster exercises and shelters when needed and in public health initiatives, such as, flu vaccinations, COVID-19 testing and vaccinations, and other community health projects.
