About this Job: General Summary of Position Facilitates the inpatient admission of appropriate rehabilitation patients to MedStar National Rehabilitation Network (MNRN) by obtaining accurate clinical data through performing on-site and record/ telephonic patient evaluations. Individuals in this role are responsible for educating the referring staff of community hospitalspatients family members and external payers regarding the effective and efficient utilization of MNRN program services and resources. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Performs on-site record and telephonic pre-admission screening activities by gathering clinical information to support the evaluation of patients for admission to the inpatient rehabilitation program.
