What We Offer Schedule : 7pm-7am, Nightshift, Full-time Department : Inpatient Behavioral Health Location : Forsyth Medical Center Forsyth Medical Centers inpatient behavioral health unit involves working with patients 18 and older who have primary psychiatric diagnoses. This may include de-escalating situations with patients that are voluntary or involuntarily committed. This unit focuses on reducing stigma related to the patient population and educating staff on treating mental health patients with the same approach as medical patients. What We're Looking For Education: - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. - 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. - If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course. Experience: One year of acute nursing experience required. Licensure/Certification/Registration: - Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. - Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
