We specialize in cardiac/telemetry and medical/surgical patients. The surge unit is overseen by the CICU inpatient managers. This position is based in the CICU, primarily assigned to the Surge Unit, with the expectation that you will float to other areas as needed. Strong teamwork and communication skills preferred as there will be collaboration with the ER and inpatient units. The surge RN has a 1:4 patient ratio and LNA 1:14. About the Job: The surge nurse delivers care to patients and families with needs ranging from basic to complex utilizing the nursing process.
