Summary The Vascular Access Nurse expertly provides and coordinates IV therapy and care for a group of patients that includes assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation. The Vascular Access Nurse serves as a role model for other clinical nursing staff and collaborates with the Interventional Radiology Team. Demonstrate proficiency in the insertion of PIV with the use of ultrasound guidance. Communication skill is required in order to lead, teach, and motivate others.
