The RN administers culturally sensitive nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with ANA standards, the New Jersey Practice Act, The Joint Commission, professional standards, and established hospital and Nursing Department policies and procedures, all grounded in evidence-based nursing practice. The RN utilizes the Nursing Process to provide patient-centered care and evaluates the effectiveness of nursing interventions through analysis of nurse-sensitive indicators and patient outcomes. Orientation includes satisfactory completion of the CSMC IV Therapy Course, CPR Certification, and NRP Certification within six months. Care is delivered using a patient-focused model supported by a multidisciplinary approach.
