Description Job Title - Per Diem Nurse Practitioner-Pediatrics Nursing - Icahn School of Medicine A Registered Nurse Practitioner engaged to work on an as-needed basis for patient care delivery. Responsibilities Provides clinical patient care to all assigned patients on an as-needed basis. Maintains BCLS/ACLS Certification and annual program requirements, for renewal, the nurse practitioner participates in classes offered by Nursing Education. Possesses the required competence in the area of assignment within the guidelines of the position description. Completes the necessary orientation program as coordinated by Nursing Education prior to engagement. Complies with all institutional regulations as would a full-time employee. Maintains telephone accessibility for control of assignment. Notifies the unit or care center office of any changes in contact information. Submits a letter of resignation at least two weeks ahead of effective date. Qualifications Master's degree program designed to prepare a registered nurse to provide acute/primary health care services or the successful completion of an approved supplemental education program, i.e., post-Masters NP certificate. The salary range for the role is $96.4228 - $96.4228 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Learn About a Day In the Life of a Surgical Tech: Responsibilities The Certified Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting the surgeon in the sterile field according to AORN Standards of Practice Recommendations. Performs scrub duties in varied specialties/procedures. Ensures that the case has the necessary sterile supplies and equipment for that surgeon and procedure. Assists with circulating duties under direct supervision of the RN circulator assigned to the patient. Ensures adherence to Hospital, State, and departmental policies and procedures. Qualifications Job Requirements: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or NCC. Annually complete 15 hours of continuing education to remain qualified to practice as a surgical technologist in the State of NJ. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Preferred Job Requirements: High School or GED equivalent. Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program. Minimum of one (1) year as a Certified Surgical Technologist. Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
