Description The (Per Diem) Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. Responsibilities Patient Care 1. Delivers patient care by incorporating the tenets of the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care and through the application of the nursing process based upon theory, research, evidence-based practice, and approved organizational nursing standards. 2. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement quality improvement projects, evidence-based practice activities and nursing research studies. 6. Ensures a continuum of quality patient care throughout hospitalization and oversees provisions for patient's discharge. Registered Nurse - 3 Main Job Summary Responsible for implementing and supervising nursing services in the medical and surgical care and gives direction to unit assistants on shift. Implements nursing care in a fast-paced environment primarily with observation status patients and overnight post-op patient stays. Treat actual or potential health problems using the nursing diagnosis and maintain the plan of care. Teach, counsel and provide supportive care to the patient and their significant others.
