Participate in collecting data needed for the accurate completion of the MDS and the plan of care. Provide input to the nurses for development of the plan of care. Provide adequate hydration to residents at regular intervals each day according to specific resident needs. Keep an accurate record of food intake and output, as directed. Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas. Be alert for proper ventilation, temperature, light and noise control. Take TPR (temperature, pulse, & rate), blood pressure, weighing of residents, etc., as directed. Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested. Other special projects and duties, as assigned. Requirements of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): Current Nursing Assistant certification from state Current/active CPR certification, preferred. The Regional Director of Clinical Reimbursement provides extensive training, analysis, advice and consultation to the facilities and teams within his/her area of responsibility. Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as Company policy and procedures regarding state case mix/Medicare and Managed Care payment systems. Monitors, consults, and makes effective recommendations for changes and modifications to existing facility processes, systems, policies, and practices which will assure efficient, effective and compliant state Medicaid/Medicare/Managed Care payment performance. Travel will be necessary to facilities in Wisconsin, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Florida. Provides consultation, training and support concerning the Medicare, Managed Care and state case mix payment system for the assigned area.
