Assist Nurse Manager in ensuring unit participation and staff knowledge of all emergency procedures and drills. Ensure that personnel and equipment are in constant readiness to respond to patient emergencies. Retain ownership of all department and unit-based performance improvement data and activities. Share knowledge and expertise through mentoring, huddles and/or staff meetings. Maintain professional competency and seek opportunity for self-growth. Supervise and check the work of staff. Support administrative decision and changes within the department. Practice regular hand hygiene and comply with standard and transmission-based precautions as applicable. What you'll bring: Passion for Cardiology 2+ years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience in Cath Lab required. Prior experience as an Assistant Nurse Manager preferred. Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Position is moderate and will require wearing lead and standing for long periods of time. Salary Range USD $61.47 - USD $78.73 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
