Your Role on the Team Position Summary A Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse responsibilities include care of the labor patient before, during and after delivery, care of the newborn immediately after delivery, care of the outpatient that presents to Labor and Delivery, circulating and recovering caesarean sections. The Labor and Delivery Nurse can identify complications including fetal monitoring interpretation and communicates to the Physician.
