Responsibilities The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. Job Description The primary responsibility of the Health Screener is to provide coverage in the field ensuring that health screenings are completed accurately and on time. The ability to identifying and understanding that the resident with dementia may be responding predictably given the situation or surrounding. For example, being awakened in the middle of the night in his/her bedroom by staff and not recognizing the staff could elicit an aggressive response. Matching activities for a resident with dementia to his/her individual cognitive and other abilities and tracking the specific behaviors in that resident based on the assessment.
