LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Job Description: Works under direct supervision using the Nurse Practice Act, Company standards, Policies and Procedures and nursing judgment. Delivers nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care. Assesses patients/residents and makes observations and report pertinent information related to the care of the patient/resident. Implements the patient/resident plan of care and evaluates the patient/resident response. Directs and supervises care given by other nursing personnel in selected situations. Maintains knowledge of necessary documentation requirements. Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use, i.e. monitors, infusion devices, drain devices, etc. Maintains confidentiality and patient/resident rights, regarding all patient/resident personnel information. Provides patient/resident/family/caregiver education as directed. Conducts self in a professional manner in compliance with unit and facility polices. Works rotating shifts, holidays and weekends as scheduled. Initiates emergency support measure (i.e., CPR, protects patient/residents from injury). LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Qualifications/Requirements: Current/valid Florida LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) License Previous experience in long term care preferred. Current CPR card Ability to work independently or part of a group. Effectively communicate with others. A minimum of one (1) year nursing experience in a long-term or acute care setting preferred. Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description: Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc., as necessary Day to Day Supervision of Licensed and Non-Licensed staff, including counseling/disciplinary action, evaluations, one-to-one in service, suspension/terminations Maintain an ongoing quality assurance program for the nursing unit Develop methods for coordination of nursing services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the residents total regimen of care Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public. Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care. Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel. Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements/Qualifications: Must have a current RN license for the state of practice. 2 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility preferred Completion of post-secondary education and be able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions. Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance as requires. Related experience at a level necessary to accomplish this position. Must be able to adjust to a flexible schedule to include evenings, nights and weekend work hours. All positions available.
