The unit has 48 beds, and they can flex up to 60 beds using double rooms. The ER at PRMC treats patients of all different ages with medical, surgical, and mental health needs. The level of acuity can vary greatly from a basic medical issue to a level 1 trauma. Overview: Restorative Nursing Assistant Primary Job Function The primary purpose of this position is to carry out restorative nursing functions. The restorative care plans are developed according to the need of each individual resident to ensure that the resident is able to increase or maintain their highest possible functioning level while in the care of our facility. Responsibilities: Restorative Nursing Assistant Primary Responsibilities Performing and providing written/verbal care assignments, routine skills and procedures to ensure the quality of care to residents. This position is hiring an LPN or RN. This position is eligible for a $4,000 – $5,000 sign-on bonus Summary Responsible for assisting Physicians with care and assessment of all age groups within the Standard of Care set by Parkview Health System and Nurse Practice Act, in respective working state. Independently plans and provides excellent professional nursing care for patients in accordance with physician orders, established outpatient and departmental policies and procedures, American Nurses Association Standards of Clinical Practice, Nurse Practice Act - in respective working state, and the ANA Code of Ethics. Education Must be a graduate of a school of nursing. Must complete General Orientation, Patient Care Orientation, and PPG practice orientation as provided and required. Licensure/Certification Must have current state Licensed Practice Nurse license OR must have current RN in the State of Indiana. Must have current CPR certification. Additional certifications may be required for specific areas. Experience Must have sufficient previous clinical experience (during training) in area of assignment. Other Qualifications Demonstrate experience in customer service, establishing priorities, and working independently. Must have good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Unit Overview: This unit is located at Parkview Regional Medical Center on the 6th floor. 6 Medical has 24 beds, they are an acute care unit that cares for any kind of infection, complications from chronic diseases and comorbidities.
