About this Job: General Summary of Position The Director of Nursing Strategy & Transformation is a change agent. They are a key contributor to the development and execution of the Department of Nursing (DON) Strategic Plan in collaboration with the senior nursing leadership team. The incumbent participates in the planning and execution of short medium and long-term transformational strategies that drives change within the DON and the organization. They maintain and demonstrate current knowledge of change theory process improvement and project management strategies. The incumbent creates a culture of innovation and promotes continuous learning. About this Job: Unit Details The Neonatal ICU at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, a five-time designated Magnet® hospital, is a 36-bed unit which provides expert nursing care for infants with many critical diagnoses. It is one of two Level IV NICUs in Washington, D.C., which is the highest level designated by the American Academy of Pediatrics. About this Job: General Summary of Position The Medical Assistant performs clinical and administrative duties in an ambulatory care setting under the supervision of a physician/provider and/or a registered nurse. Duties may include venipuncture medication and vaccine administration measurement and documentation of vital signs and assisting providers with patient exams and telephone and clerical support.
