CTI operated collaboratively across the Northwestern Medicine health system to advance our mission to deliver the highest quality care for patients with diseases of the chest, promote clinical innovation and discovery, and improve lung health in the Greater Chicago Community. In this role you will work closely with our transplant pulmonologists and thoracic surgeons to support our growing inpatient Lung Transplant ICU Team. The APP will provide primary management to patients in the ICU as well as consultative coverage for transplant patients in the MICU or CTICU. Some role responsibilities include complex ventilator management, central line and arterial line placement, and management of medically complex patients. This role will be 100% inpatient. Schedule: 3 x 12 hour shifts plus 4 hours administrative time. NIGHTS ONLY, rotating weekends, no call. Essential Functions: Demonstrates clinical expertise and expanded knowledge through patient care activities which may include diagnosis and management of a wide range of health problems.
