Job Purpose Baylor College of Medicine Division of Pediatric General Surgery has an opening for a full-time NP or PA position at CHRISTUS Children's. Working in a high-volume and patient-oriented clinic, this position will be responsible for the management of patients with pediatric acute and general surgical conditions under the direct supervision of pediatric BCM general surgeons. Summary The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (GHN) at Texas Children's Hospital (TCH) is developing a team of close-knit Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners at the Texas Medical Center campus to be part of a dynamic and collaborative multidisciplinary medical team who will care for hospitalized patients with a variety of gastrointestinal and liver disorders. This position offers a unique experience on our in-patient service lines for an individual who wishes to pursue a career in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition, build relationships with patients/families and be immersed in a highly educational environment with frequent opportunities to attend research lectures, pathology conference, and obtain CME through GI grand rounds and fellows workshops.
