Clinical Nurse, Outpatient - Ambulatory Treatment Center (ATC) Position Summary The Ambulatory Treatment Center (ATC) Clinical Nurse demonstrates competence and competencies regarding all aspects of administering and monitoring systemic cancer therapies and other injectable infusions for adult patients in the Ambulatory Treatment Center. The Melanoma/Sarcoma unit is a 25-bed medical oncology unit providing care to adult and geriatric patients ranging in age from 18 - 95. Four monitored beds are designated for melanoma, renal cell carcinoma, sarcoma, cervical, ovarian, thoracic and pancreatic cancer patients receiving high-dose bolus interleukin-2 and/or targeted cellular therapy requiring cardiac monitoring. Primary populations treated include: melanoma, sarcoma and GI patients receiving complex chemotherapeutic and bio-immunotherapeutic regimens and all solid tumor cancer patients receiving immune effector cell therapy. Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, an RN license and at least twelve months of recent RN experience in Oncology and/or a Medical Surgical Inpatient setting.
