About this Job: Unit Highlights As part of the critical care service line, our Intermediate Care Unit serves a variety of complex medical and surgical patients that need frequent monitoring and nursing interventions. Job Description Summary: A Nursing Supervisor is a licensed professional who provides direct and indirect patient care services under a physician’s plan of care and in accordance with the policies and procedures of Option Care Health, the state’s professional standards, and regulatory entities. About this Job: General Summary of Position The Director of Nursing is a member of MedStar Health entity-based Division of Nursing's (DON) leadership/management team and is responsible for one or more defined units/departments of organized nursing and patient care services. Position Title Medical Assistant, Neurology Job Description Purpose & Scope: The Medical Assistant ensures the clinical environment is cleaned, stocked, and ready for patient care. Performs phlebotomy, prepares specimens for transport to labs, performs simple laboratory procedures, takes vital signs, prepares patients for procedures, and assists with patient flow.
