Practice Environment: Location: St. Joseph's Medical Center – Stockton, CA 8-room main OR cath lab, endo 355-bed regional medical center (CommonSpirit Hospital System) The Anesthesiology department is diverse, consisting of 14 physicians, over 30 independent-practice CRNAs, and 24 Residents (8-10 daily on site) providing services for up to 19 anesthetizing locations daily to include acute care ORs, cardiac ORs, obstetrics, GI/endo, cath lab, interventional radiology, and a hospital ambulatory surgery center. The annual anesthesia case volume is approx. 14,300 cases, consisting of ~ 9,000 surgical cases, 800 cardiac cases, and 2,000 out-of-OR cases in GI, EP lab/Cath Lab, and interventional radiology. OB services with 3,000 births annually Participation in call is expected (24 hours in-house, 24 hours OB) - Must be within 30 minutes of the facility.
