Position Summary Holly Hill Healthcare Center, a 75-bed skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, and memory care-focused facility located in Towson, Maryland, is seeking compassionate, dependable, and service-oriented Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA-1s) professionals to join our nursing team. As a CNA-I, you will play an essential role in providing high-quality, resident-centered care to individuals receiving skilled nursing, long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, and memory care services. Essential Responsibilities Provide compassionate, respectful, and resident-centered care while preserving each resident's dignity, privacy, rights, and independence. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, oral hygiene, and mobility. Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, range-of-motion exercises, and restorative care activities in accordance with individualized care plans. Observe, document, and promptly report changes in residents' physical, mental, emotional, or behavioral condition to the licensed nurse. Measure and record vital signs, weights, intake and output, and other assigned clinical observations. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Follow established infection prevention and control, workplace safety, emergency preparedness, and quality assurance procedures. Collaborate effectively with nurses, therapists, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve exceptional resident outcomes. Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with all applicable federal, state, and facility policies, including HIPAA requirements. Perform other duties within the scope of CNA-I certification as assigned. Qualifications Active Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA-I) certification in good standing with the Maryland Board of Nursing Assistant Registry. Former Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification satisfies this requirement. Current CPR certification preferred or required in accordance with facility policy. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Compassionate, dependable, professional, and committed to delivering outstanding resident care. JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The hospice aide works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various tasks as assigned in accordance with the patient’s plan of care to meet the patient's personal needs and to promote comfort. The hospice aide is responsible for reporting and documenting observations and care performed. The hospice aide will be assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity and safety of a patient's care. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities of the hospice aide include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Performing personal care needs after given a patient's assignment and attending to his/her requests promptly. If unable to perform a certain task, report to the Case Manager immediately. 2.
