Assist physicians in managing cardiac patients, including direct care within the cardiac cath/interventional lab and during cardiac or non-cardiac procedures. Operate radiographic and angiographic imaging equipment while adhering to radiation safety standards. Collaborate with interventional radiology techs on documentation, policy, ACC reporting, inventory management, and quality assurance. Collect and document accurate data for patient care and outcomes, including electrocardiographic and hemodynamic monitoring. Educate patients and families with relevant health information and provide appropriate written materials. Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance quality nursing care. Must respond promptly to emergencies and arriving at the hospital within 30 minutes as needed.
