Essential Duties: Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to Residents and their families. Maintain documentation of Resident care services by auditing Resident and department records. Create appropriate care plans for residents Handle all supervisory duties for assigned units, including overseeing LPNs and CNAs that report to you Help establish and implement employment policies and procedures Maintain the standards of care for the units Review Resident records & quality of care Monitor overall care & review individual Residents’ cases Address questions or complaints brought forward by Residents or their families Education, Experience and/or Training: Long-term Care experience preferred Valid RN license required 2-4 years management experience. knowledge of City, State and Federal regulations pertaining to licensed skilled nursing facilities. Same Day Pay! $79k-$110k/year (all inclusive) Responsibilities for a Unit Manager: Assume responsibility and accountability for resident care on assigned unit Oversees resident care to promote the highest level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning possible for assigned unit Ensures complete and prompt reporting of incidents with follow-up as necessary to Administrator and Director of Nursing Actively participates in committee/programs as directed by Director of Nursing Participates in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures based on identified needs Qualifications for a Unit Manager Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in the state of New Jersey. Valid BLS Certification (CPR) Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
