As a Full-Time Registered Nurse, Regional Clinical Manager, you’ll serve as a client-facing clinical leader overseeing clinical operations across our North Brunswick, Raritan, and Titusville, NJ, and Jacksonville, FL, Health Center locations. You’ll also provide care to client employees at our Health Center in New Brunswick, NJ , while partnering with a strong, collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. What You'll Do Oversees the management of single or multiple (2+) health centers and lines of service across contract(s). Manages staff processes typically composed of health center manager, and multiple technical Team Leads as well as indirectly managing all daily operational processes for Medical Directors and clinical providers. Assists in the creation of site-specific goals and measurements related to the needs of the client(s), including management of metrics to Performance Guarantees. Effectively communicates across the various sites and to stakeholders to ensure consistency in messaging. For multiple contract oversight, effectively communicates with DCO to ensure site level priorities are addressed and messaging is consistent across the book of business (BOB). Compiles input and contributes to performance appraisal process for all indirect reports. Responsible for following appropriate processes for hiring, staff development and performance management and provides input to AVP and DCO as needed. Responsible for interviewing, training, and the successful orientation and onboarding of new hires as applicable. Manages daily operations, workflow, work schedules, and timecard monitoring, to ensure efficient and effective health center performance. Identifies process improvement opportunities, workflow efficiencies, determines root cause analysis, creates action plans and presents resolutions and recommendations to the AVP and DCO. Makes recommendations regarding staffing model based on objective scheduling & volume analysis – presents to AVP and DCOs for approval. Understands and complies with all regulatory, procedural and licensing requirements. Oversees the execution of site level quality program and is responsible for supporting and oversight of AAAHC standards across sites. Provides oversight on Member Engagement Site Action plans and outcome reporting. Develops action plans around patient utilization and penetration. Monitors patient flow, scheduling, referrals, and patient satisfaction. Upholds corporate Values in alignment with the Art of Quality Service initiative. Completes reports as needed and provides assistance to Clinical Quality and Operations departments regarding investigations and the resolution of issues or complaints. Coaches and provides feedback to staff on a regular basis. Manages internal budget, reviews expenses, purchases supplies, inventories equipment, medication, lab tests etc. May serve as a client contact and provide reports and summaries of health center activities. Communicates and coordinates Corporate messages and ensures implementation of policies and procedures. Assists in the identification and use of per diem staff to ensure appropriate staffing levels are met. Works collaboratively with the health center managers and Medical Director at the site to manage internal medical staff site issues. Communicates regularly with staff, conducts meetings, and provides updates and shares information regularly. Acts as the health center’s infection control lead and collaborates with the corporate Director of Quality and Infection Control Officer. May provide patient care if qualified and where circumstance applies. May require other duties as assigned. What You'll Bring Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Current license as an RN in practicing state. Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S) may be required for some sites. Current hands-on certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required. Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the medical field. 2 – 3 years’ management experience. Prior management experience managing a large group a must. Experience accessing CDC, WHO, APIC or other industry standards for Infection Prevention practices. Laurel and Willingboro locations are only outpatient units, whereas the Special Test Unit (STU) , located on the sixth floor in the main hospital is an outpatient and inpatient unit. All are run by the hospital largely to serve diagnostic and therapeutic needs of the Gastroenterology Division. The most common gastroenterology procedures are upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. In the pulmonary suite (STU only), endoscopy of the airway procedures is performed, and are commonly called bronchoscopy. All units are staffed by surgical schedulers, patient service representatives, nurses, and GI technicians. Anesthesiology is present for all GI procedures. Nurses rotate between the admission (Pre op), procedure suites, recovery (PACU) and pre-admission testing. They must be familiar with all roles and procedures in the GI Unit. Experience Required The Mt. Laurel and Willingboro locations are only outpatient units, whereas the Special Test Unit (STU) , located on the sixth floor in the main hospital is an outpatient and inpatient unit. A Brief Overview The Quality Management (QM) Coordinator's over-aching aim is to advance the organization's commitment to healthcare quality through collaboration and communication. They will facilitate the integration of quality into the fabric of the organization through a coordinated infrastructure to achieve organizational objectives. The QM Coordinator helps coordinate the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of Quality, Safety and Performance Improvement activities. This includes but is not limited to; supporting the performance improvement process, identifying performance trends, prioritizing, and recommending improvements, coordinating hospital-wide Performance Improvement activities regarding strategic initiatives and department goals, and participates in the root cause analysis (RCA) process for applicable serious safety events. Serving as a liaison to other hospital departments and personnel, they will use performance and process improvement (PPI), project management, and change management methods to support operational and clinical quality initiatives, improve performance, and achieve targeted organizational goals. The QM Coordinator will collaborate with key stakeholders to improve care processes by performing quality medical record reviews, assisting in the improvement of the clinical operations, maintaining accurate records of review activities, developing formal charters and improvement plans. They will also be responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory standards and guidelines set forth by accrediting bodies. In collaboration with Leadership, Nursing, Medical Staff and other ancillary departments, they will prepare for, participate in, and follow up on regulatory, accreditation, and certification surveys and activities to facilitate continuous survey readiness. Serving as both a functional leader and data expert in a variety of tasks, namely; quality data reporting programs and measures, data compilation and analysis, process evaluation, and ongoing creation and maintenance of metric dashboards/displays of data to medical, clinical, and executive leadership and other committees as assigned. What You Will Do Plan, organize, and direct Quality Management activities to organize process improvement projects to ensure patient safety and improvement in quality metrics Collect, analyze, summarize and present data in a narrative, statistical and graphic format to identify trends, patterns, and areas in need of improvement Monitor and evaluate patient care outcomes and other performance indicators, working collaboratively with physician, nursing and other clinical and administrative professionals to develop and implement action plans to address changes in key indicators Support the development of dashboards and scorecards to monitor the progress of various quality initiatives and utilizing project management tools to track and communicate the status of those initiatives Represent Quality Management at Quality committees, departmental committees, performance improvement task forces and organizational teams as appropriate Conduct case reviews to investigate reported or suspected deviations in patient care outcomes, then facilitate appropriate review by physician and/or other professional staff, as appropriate based on clinical qualifications Participate in continuous readiness monitoring to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements Facilitate the production of the department’s Quality & Patient Safety Annual Report Participates in Root Cause Analysis, investigates adverse events and implements corrective actions/interventions. Provide, facilitate, and evaluate formal and informal educational programs and presentations related to quality and patient safety to new hires and residents to facilitate opportunities to improve patient care Performs other duties as assigned Education Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in healthcare-related field Required Experience Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare setting working directly with clinical, administrative and professional staff.
