Overview The Heater Road Primary Care Clinic provides preventative, acute and chronic care to patients of all ages. Our clinic is fast-paced, with over 50,000 visits annually, including in person and telehealth options! We utilize multiple different types of care-team members to support our patients’ needs, including physicians, APP’s, nurses, medical assistants (MAs), licensed nursing assistants (LNAs), diabetic educators, pharmacists, behavioral health clinicians, dietitians, secretaries, and more! The clinic provides comprehensive care to patients during office hours, Monday through Friday, 0800-1700. The role of the clinic nurse is vital to symptom management, triage, patient education, in clinic procedures, as well as collaborative and independent nurse visits. The nursing team is structured to provide support to patients both in clinic and via phone. This position does allow for flexible hours depending on candidate and operational needs. The ideal candidate would be able to provide clinic support with either four 10-hour shifts, or five 8-hour shifts. This position allows for up to one remote day per week. Overview O.R. Same Day Surgery Full-time, 4 x 10 hour shifts, Monday – Friday ! 6:00am - 9:30pm (staggard start times) Our Same Day Program is a very busy 34-bed unit where patients are efficiently prepared for their surgery or procedures. A typical day we care for 50-70 patients. We also provide post anesthesia recovery care for those patients being discharged home the “same day” as their procedure. On the main unit we serve patients from 15 years through adulthood and in our separate pedi periop program we care for patients 14 and under. Within our department is a regional block program where patients receive sedation by our moderate sedation trained nurses while being administered a preoperative block before going into the OR for most commonly a joint replacement. Preadmission Services that utilize our program include but are not limited to orthopedics, gynecology, plastics, ENT, vascular, urology, radiology, cardiology and thoracic surgery. We are looking for experienced nurses that are team players and want to work in a busy 34 bed Same Day Surgery Program (SDP). Shifts are 10 hours between the hours of 6:00 am and 8:30 pm. Nurses must have current acute care hospital experience. Critical Care experience and IV skills are a plus. Overview We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative Registered Nurse to join our growing Otolaryngology (ENT) team! Our ENT nurses provide specialized care to patients of all ages with a broad range of ear, nose, throat, hearing, and head and neck conditions, including sinus disease and head and neck cancers. This position is primarily telephone triage based with additional patient-facing care, including nurse visits and opportunities for hands-on clinical support. Overview Our Academic Medical Center has expanded to meet the inpatient psychiatric care needs of adolescent patients in our rural New England region. The shifts will rotate from 7a-7p and include weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities Performs various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care duties. Possesses direct access to drug products and secure medication locations in order to manage the storage, handling and disposal of medications consistent with the Medication Storage and Handling Policy. Assists with routine patient care activities under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, including, but not be limited to, performing ADL’s, obtaining clinical data, including vital signs, heights and weights, utilizing universal precautions, collecting specimens or performing point of care testing and recording results in medical record, etc. Assists in maintaining a clean and safe work environment by keeping the hallways clear of excess equipment, emptying linen bags when full, etc. Assists visitors and answer telephones. Assists new co-workers in learning the work of the department. Performs other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications High school graduate required. Must demonstrate keyboarding skills and be familiar with computer use. Previous hospital experience preferred. Required Licensure/Certifications Licensed Nursing Assistant in the State of NH required. Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.
