Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification are required. National Certification, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification, and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) Certification are preferred. 4–5 years of previous Pediatric ED or Pediatric Critical Care RN experience required. An Associate’s degree in Nursing is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC.
