Bachelor's degree in nursing, preferred. Must be enrolled in an accredited program within 24 months of employment, if hired after September 1, 2010, and obtain a BSN degree within five (5) years of employment date. Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State. BLS, ACLS & PALS required. 1+ years of full-time ACUTE care PACU experience required. TCAR preferred but required within 6 months of employment date. CPAN/CAPA preferred. Position will include cross-training for preoperative/same day surgery hybrid nurse mode, in perioperative area.
