Provides a variety of employee health services to ensure employees are functioning in optimal physical conditions and are physically suited for their positions. Employee Health Coordinator Key Responsibilities Manages and oversees staff and operational functions of the Employee Health Department. Coordinate the Workers’ Compensation Program. Reviews employee incidents and initiate appropriate follow-up. Screens employees for illnesses, communicable diseases and injuries Completes pre-placement health assessments for prospective employees. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of applicable regulatory and accreditation standards, including OSHA and infection prevention requirements. Maintains current awareness of new and emerging laws and regulations, effectively communicating updates and disseminating required changes to Employee Health staff and applicable departments. Participates in employee wellness programs and other applicable committees.
