Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to infection control practices and standard precautions. Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements (including DPH and state guidelines). Report hazards, equipment issues, and safety concerns immediately. Protect resident confidentiality and privacy at all times. Technology & Systems Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) and other required systems efficiently and accurately. Supervisory Responsibilities This position directly supervises nursing staff including GNAs, CMAs, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and other assigned personnel. Work Environment Healthcare setting with frequent interaction in resident care areas Requires frequent walking, standing, and movement throughout the facility Exposure to contagious illnesses and varying environmental conditions Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting Ability to lift and/or move residents or objects over 35 pounds Strong verbal communication and hearing abilities Visual acuity including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision Position Type & Work Schedule Full-time, exempt position Facility operates 24/7, including weekends and holidays Rotating shifts and emergency/in-climate weather coverage required Travel Requirements No travel required Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited nursing program Current, active RN or LPN license CPR certification Preferred Qualifications At least one (1) year of nursing experience in long-term care Prior experience as a CNA/GNA Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
