Job Summary: The CNA is an essential member of the patient care team who contributes to the well-being and comfort of patients during their stay by providing direct and indirect patient care under the direction of the registered nurse. Float Pool CNA – Reports for assignment and proceeds to any department that the Director/Manager/Nursing Supervisor assigns, without delay. May be asked to float to other departments. Maintains required licenses, certifications, and competencies, and completes annual compliance courses on time. Supporting student learning is a shared responsibility. Job Summary: The Nursing Supervisor is a leadership position providing administrative and clinical operations oversight primarily after 4 PM Monday thru Friday, as well as weekends and holidays. Job Summary: 3 East is a 31-bed specialized unit, working with Alzheimers/dementia residents, and tailoring care to meet their needs. Key aspects of this unit are the use of both verbal and non-verbal communication techniques, understanding the difficult behaviors that are sometimes associated with residents that have Alzheimer's/Dementia, as well as understanding that these behaviors can be valid communications. It provides needed care to those residents needing long term placement in a home-like environment.
