Supports operations by demonstrating ability and willingness to float between units as an RN and provides 1:1 patient observation when deemed necessary Qualifications Associate’s degree in Nursing required Bachelor's degree in Nursing required within 3 years of hire. Graduate of CSMC Residency program, or Minimum of 1 year acute care RN experience required (Stepdown, Tele, or ED experience preferred). Previous related experience preferred. Current NJ RN license required. CPR Certification required. Stroke education requirements to be achieved within first year then maintained thereafter. Specialty credentialing required to be achieved within the first year and maintained thereafter include Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), 8 hours Trauma Education, CPR and CSMC IV Certification. Specialty professional nursing certification preferred. Must complete assigned education provided by Crisis Prevention Institute. Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team.
